Three pub companies have announced their support of apprenticeships during National Apprenticeship Week; to boost the skills of their employees.
Greene King has pledged to recruit over 2,000 apprentices and improve career opportunities across their entire business by following a new career path.
Stonegate Pub Company announced the launch of 14 masterclasses, which supports the ongoing training of general managers. Stonegate have also enrolled over 200 team members in their own apprenticeship scheme, which matches the national apprenticeship framework and adds extra training and knowledge specific to the company.
Orchid Pub Company announced that 254 staff have enrolled on the Orchid Apprenticeships; 184 on front-of-house schemes and 70 on chef schemes. The apprenticeships aim to give employees the chance to take the first steps towards successful careers in the company.
