Intertain, the 32-strong operator, has picked up three awards at the Benefits Excellent Awards, including the overall award The Grand Prix Best of the Best 2014.
The awards are designed to recognise the continued innovation and success of voluntary benefits programmes.
Intertain, which runs the Walkabout chain, won the Benefits Pioneer Award, Most Successful Targeted Approach to Workforce Demographic and The Grand Prix Best of the Best 2014.
Intertain won the title of “Benefits Pioneer” for the work it put into its voluntary benefits platform, My Intertain. The platform built to host all company information and act as a central hub helped engage its 1,000 employees.
It also won the prize for “Most Successful Targeted Approach to a Workforce Demographic” for displaying what the judges said was an “excellent understanding of [its] workforce in relation to choosing the most effective communication channels”.
It won the top accolade The Grand Prix presented for going above and beyond.
