The Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for 2015 list is out and there are some great results for T.G.I Friday’s, who have taken the top spot.
The 66 strong American restaurant chain topped the Best Big Companies list after receiving three unbeaten positive scores for employees feeling a strong sense of family (82%) in fun (86%) teams that they get a buzz out of working with (77%).
Chief executive, Karen Forrester took the helm in 2008, with a strategy to put TGI’s people at the heart of the corporate revamp: “We sell experience to our guests, an emotional connection, and we can only do that through people. The food, the drinks, the environment are all ancillary to that.”
Results were collected by Best companies from over 1.5 million employees, who were asked to rate their feelings about a variety of topics such as company managers, leadership, colleagues, prospects for growth and pay and benefits.
