January 2020 – We’re getting ready for National Apprenticeship Week and the Hospitality Apprenticeship Showcase on the 4th February in the House of Commons. Bringing together employers and apprentices, the media, key industry representatives as well as politicians to celebrate this fantastic industry. In the run-up to this, we are joined by a very special guest, Keith Knowles OBE, Chairman of Perceptions Group and CEO of Beds and Bars to talk everything hospitality.
December – The final podcast of 2019! We’re keeping this one short and sweet! We look back on what’s happened in the industry throughout 2019 and discuss food and drinks trends as well as what we can expect in 2020.
November – It’s World Vegan Month and we are joined by Paul Fitzpatrick, Head of Food Development, at Stonegate Pub Company. We are discussing the new Stonegate vegan menu, why this trend has become so popular and how the new, additional food options are affecting orders.
October -We are celebrating the London Cocktail Week by talking with two very special guests. Dave Tregenza, Director of Salts of the Earth and co-owner of The Shrub and Shutter and First Aid Box, and Jess Smit, Training Co-Ordinator at Be At One and winner of Best Bartender of the Year 2019, join us to talk cocktails, bartending and everything hospitality.
September – Today we are joined by a very special guest – Candice Brown. Great British Bake Off winner 2016, pub owner, a regular columnist for The Sunday Times and ambassador for Love British Food. As it’s British Food Fortnight, Candice talks about her involvement as an ambassador for the campaign, what it’s like owning a pub to filming on This Morning and balancing a busy schedule and why she loves the hospitality industry.
